The testing of ABB's flameproof, non-sparking and dust ignition protection motors together with the ABB ACS880 drive family is now finalized. Results are analysed and necessary documents updated. As a result of that we can now release these combinations for sales.
Loadability curves are the same as for ACS800, also the selection rules for insulated bearing and reinforced insulation are the same as for ACS800. Installing the new DriveSize 4.0 version will allow you to dimension ABB motors with ACS800 autoamatlcally.
